Make Mine Marvel

Finally got the box printed and the whole thing photographed. Oh the wonders of technology because the box is a flimsy appalling piece of craftsmanship. Luckily you can't really tell in these photo's.

Cupcakes

I have 12 invitations and 12 envelopes to cut out by tomorrow. I dislike the colour pink.

On the plus side, I've been commissioned to do a one off card and envelope for a cup cake card with a jolly roger/pirate theme. Also, jokes aside but I'm really pleased with how these have turned out and hopefully I'll have the stickers printed in the morning at drop in.

The Outsider Finished Illustrations

Ready for printing in the morning on a2 matt paper.

envelope mock up

They're a little bit small, and a little bit broken but they'll do for mock up's until I have them printed properly tomorrow. Wasn't sure whether I liked the pink or the white for envelope so I've mocked up 2.

Accidenttly pressed to hard scoring and almost slit of the flap. Whoops.

Marvel Box Mock Up

Mock up's for the box that my Marvel Novelizations will sit in.

The first one I did was just a small black and white printout with the original design. However, I felt that there was too much white space and the characters did not fit well on the page.

So I made a bigger mock up. This time, instead of just using the characters I zoomed in on the textures that make up the costumes and applied those instead.

Almost There

(the images are flipped. So the seam on the card is the wrong way around, but not in person.)

Please ignore me in the background. These pictures will have to do until the camera get's delivered to me in half an hour. I didn't want to cut the cards right towards the design, wanted to keep some white space around it. However, I wasn't sure whether I liked the white space on it's own or the white space with the burgundy outline.

The inside is a little...pink, to say the least. I think a trip to the craft shop in town is in order to see if I can find a paler colour.

Edit: (taken with camera and not my macs web cam)

Sticker

Sticker design for the inside of the card. Please excuse the bad photo quality. (Also, I printed it the wrong way around for the front of the design but that's ok, I know now.)I wanted to make them stickers because it means I can place them where ever on the page. (and my sister can if she wants too, meaning she has some input of on her own birthday invites...even though she's only 2)

The stickers will be printed on Tuesday with the rest of the cards. If I can't print them on the vinyl cutter, then I'm going to adapt the circles into squares and do them myself.
